Dear Sara:

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Michigan State University Medical Technology Program I send you hearty congratulations on your recognition for participation in the Gift of Life Challenge with the University of Michigan students. Though the citizens of Michigan are the big winners in this endeavor, you and the other students in the Medical Technology Student Association (MTSA) have also been winners; not by virtue of beating U of M (though of course we are pleased that you did - Go GREEN!), but by virtue of the skills you learned and applied in accomplishing this worthy goal. We are proud of the professionalism, hard work and community dedication that you demonstrated in taking on this project. You and the MTSA did this with only a modicum of guidance from faculty. I hope that you take pride in your accomplishment and that the experience will motivate you and the other group members to continue to serve your communities and profession throughout your life.

Warm regards,

Kathy Doig, PhD, CLS(NCA), CLSp(H)
Program Director
