With over 25 years of experience in the field of coagulation and management, Cindy is currently the Laboratory Manager at Esoterix Coagulation, serving in this position since January 1998. After graduating from MSU in 1975 with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology and completing her internship at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she began her career working with Dr. Douglas Triplett in the Hematology and Special Coagulation Laboratory at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She has also held positions as Hematology/Coagulation Supervisor at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, and as Supervisor of Hematology, Coagulation and Flow Cytometry at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida. Cindy has demonstrated her commitment to laboratory medicine by serving in a variety of leadership roles for state and national professional laboratory organizations. She continues to play an active role in providing continuing education to the laboratory community in the field of coagulation and laboratory management by regularly conducting workshops, seminars and teleconferences. In addition, she has authored many articles on these and other topics for a variety of professional laboratory journals throughout her career.
